Modern kitchen and living room with marble accents, beige and brown furniture, and ample natural light from large window with sheer curtains.

Nothing we install comes from a catalogue.

Bespoke kitchens, doors, wardrobes, and interiors — built by us in our own atelier since 1947.

We make, we finish, we fit. Every kitchen, door, wardrobe, and fitted piece is built in our own atelier for the property it's going into — that's been the house rule for three generations.

THE HOUSE RULES

  • A kitchen built specifically for your room and the way you actually cook in it. We measure on site, work from your plans, and build every cabinet from scratch on our own benches — no modular units, no off-the-shelf carcasses, no catalogue doors retro-fitted to a standard module. Solid timber, real joinery, hardware specified for the lifetime of the kitchen rather than the warranty period. Worktops in stone, timber, or steel — chosen with you, not from a brochure. Fitted by the same carpenters who made it. Built once, built right, and made to still be there in twenty years.

  • Solid timber joinery, made and finished in our own workshop. Interior doors, pivot doors, oversized entrance doors, full-height glazed runs — every piece sized to the opening rather than ordered from a fixed range. Hinges and ironmongery chosen for how the door will actually be used over decades, not picked from the cheapest line in a catalogue. Stains, paints, and finishes done in-house, on the same benches, by the people who built the doors. The kind of work you only get from a carpentry workshop — not a door supplier.

  • Built around the space, not pulled from a fixed range. We measure the alcove, the awkward wall, the slope under the eaves — and build a wardrobe that uses every centimetre of it. Solid carcasses, timber doors, internal layouts arranged around what you actually own: hanging heights, drawer widths, shoe shelves, jewellery trays, tie pulls, soft-close everything. Fitted by our own carpenters, scribed and adjusted in the room so there are no shadow gaps against the walls. Three generations of doing this — you will not see the joins.

  • Furniture, panelling, libraries, built-ins, dressing rooms, vanities, dining tables, bar units — whatever the property asks for. If it can be made in timber and fitted on-site, we make it. The same team that builds your kitchen builds the rest of the house's joinery to the same standard, in the same workshop, finished on the same benches. One brief, one quote, one trade on the site. No subcontractors handing work to other subcontractors. The pieces look like they were always there — because they were made for that property and fitted into it.

WHAT WE MAKE

THE ATELIER

Made by us.

Not white-labelled.

A large industrial machine labeled 'Rover C6' in a workshop or manufacturing environment. The machine has multiple components, including vacuum hoses and metal parts, with a green and white color scheme. The surrounding area includes a floor with marked safety lines and some equipment.

Inside our workshop and showroom.

Everything we install passes through our own benches — cut on our machines, finished by hand by the same team.

WHY DOMBERG

The things we won’t compromise on.

Since 1947

A carpentry company now in its third generation. Long enough to know what lasts and what doesn't.

One team, one atelier

Carpenters, finishers, and installers — all on our payroll, all working under one roof.

Direct from the maker

No showroom chain markup, no white-labelled imports. The work you see is the work you get, priced once, built once.

HOW WE WORK

From the first conversation to the final installation, one team.

01

Conversation

Tell us about the project. We'll listen, ask the right questions, and visit the site if it helps.

02

Plan

We work to your brief and walk you through materials, finishes, and costs — nothing hidden.

03

Fabrication

Every piece is built in our own atelier by our own carpenters, using the materials we've agreed on.

04

Installation

Our team fits it. No subcontractors, no handovers, no surprises.

Modern kitchen with marble countertops, dark wooden cabinets, and a large window with sheer curtains. There is a potted plant near the window and kitchen utensils on the counter.
THE SHOWROOM

Visit in person.

A working atelier and showroom — by appointment and for private viewings. See the materials, meet the team, walk the finished pieces.
